Baron is going to be baptized soon, and it got me thinking, do you think the Little Elvis chapel in Vegas baptizes people? They marry them, and it can't be much different right? If they don't, they should think about it, especially in this economy. They'd have their first customer right here! It would be perfect, I could have a mini vacation and Baron would get to visit my most favorite place in the world. Do you think Vegas bars allow babies? If not we may have a deal breaker.
Actually he is being baptized after Christmas sometime in Ouray. It's the chosen location because it's near Bart's parents house and they belong to a church there. Really, it's the chosen location because it's a cool town and it will be a good story to tell Baron one day (and again, the mini vacation for me). Pat and Katie are coming which is good because they are his godparents!! Thank god for godparents that are nice and in love with a giant baby named Baron, they spoil him and think everything he does is huh-larious.
On the baby front, he makes this funny buzzing sound over and over and over and over. Like for 38 minutes at 6 o'clock in the morning and you start asking yourself WHAT is that god damn noise. And then you see this funny face with big eyes and an aren't-I-funny smile and then you remember. He's with his nana and pop today and I'm semi worried about what they're doing over there, seeing as pop just sent me a video of those lollipop midgets from the Wizard of Oz asking if I see a resemblance. Um just because as a seven month old he's convenienently the same size as a midget does NOT mean there is any resemblance. And the fact that he's bald, has a giant head and makes funny noises. Maybe I could rent him out and just say he's a midget? Would anyone know the difference? That would be a better story to tell him--- remember the time you were seven months old and modeled midget clothes...
On another note, Baby Gap just released a new line called "Bleeker" or something (which by the way is an AWFUL name. It reminds me of that weird Muppets character). Anyway, the cutest thing from that line is a hat, seen in all the advertisements. Funny though, when you go to the site, the hat doesn't exist. You click on the entire outfit they've created for you (hat and all) and everything is listed for purchase except for the adorable hat. Could Gap have dumber marketing/manufacturing people? I don't know if they just didn't make enough, or if it's not really one of their items for sale, but I guarantee everyone's going to want that hat (and by everyone, I mean all the mamas).
I'll leave you with the ad-- I don't know what is more precious, this little boy or the hat!
